국민대학교(총장 임홍재)는 지난 2일 교육부와 한국연구재단에서 주관한 ‘2020 산학협력 EXPO’에서 응용화학부 및 대학원 화학과 도영락 교수가 기술이전 및 공동연구 부문에서 산학협력 유공자로 선정되어 부총리 겸 교육부 장관 표창을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
이번에 도영락 교수는 기업의 수요에 기반한 융복합 기술개발 및 기술사업화에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 장관 표창을 수상했다. 특히 도영락 교수는 일주기리듬 조절 기술, 차세대 디스플레이 원천기술, 엑소좀(exosome) 정제 및 분리용 나노 필터 등 광전소자용 나노소재 및 바이오 헬스케어 소재 분야의 원천기술을 개발해 최근 5년 동안 총 11건, 57억 여원에 이르는 대형 기술이전을 성공시켜 대학이 보유한 창의적 자산의 실용화와 더불어 기업 및 산업계의 경쟁력 강화에도 지속적으로 기여해 왔다.
도영락 교수는 “사회가 당면하고 있는 시급한 현안들을 해결할 수 있는 게임 체인저(game changer)가 될 수 있는 혁신적 기술을 개발하고 싶다.”며, “이를 통해 기업과 대학이 상생·협력할 수 있는 산학협력 생태계를 조성하고, 보다 더 많은 청년 일자리를 만들 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 수상 소감을 전했다.
